Numbers of babies are born on the Monarch’s
birthday anniversary celebration
A number of babies were born on Tuesday as
the country celebrated the 62nd birthday anniversary of His Majesty the
Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
At the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha
Hospital in the capital, 14 babies were delivered. Wednesday, the
newborns and their parents were presented with gifts at the Hospital by
the wife of the Minister of Home Affairs, Datin Paduka Hajah Salmah.
The newborns also received a ‘SIMANJA’ account with one hundred dollars
each, from the Islamic Trust Fund, TAIB.
Meanwhile 6 babies were delivered at the Suri
Seri Begawan Belait District Hospital. The new born babies received a
present from the Executive Committee for His Majesty’s 62nd birthday
celebrations in Belait District and ‘SIMANJA’ accounts worth 100 dollars
each, presented by wife of Deputy Minister of Ministry of Home Affairs,
Datin Hajah Norhayati binti Abu Bakar.
Also in the Tutong District, 2 babies were
delivered and celebrated Wednesday with a thanks giving ceremony and
handing over souvenirs, presented by the wife of Permanent Secretary of
the Ministry of Home Affairs, Pengiran Nor’ain binti Pengiran Haji
Mohammad at the Pg. Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Crown Prince Hospital.
The newborns received a ‘SIMANJA’ account worth one hundred dollars
each from Islamic Trust Fund, TAIB and accessories from the Executive
Committee for His Majesty’s 62nd birthday celebrations in Tutong
District.
