Dialogue debating competition in conjunction
with the Monarch’s 62nd birthday anniversary
There are capable youths who can present
productive ideas and knowledge which are suitable for the youth
themselves in a developing society which lead to globalisation era. They
can give their ideas through dialogue and debate in a healthy diplomacy.
In that respect, a dialogue debating
competition between higher education institutions for 1429 Hijrah was
held last night. The theme of the debate is “Falsafah Melayu Islam
Beraja Tergugat Disebabkan Pengaruh Negatif Teknologi Maklumat” or the
Malay Islamic Monarchy Concept is Affected Due to the Influence of
Negative Information Technology.
The panels groups were ‘Pendeta Islam’ who
agreed with the topic while As-Syababul Imtiyaz disagreed with the
motion. Among those present was the Minister of Religious Affairs,
Pehin Dato Seri Utama Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Mohamad Zain. The debate
chaired by Awang Mohammad Zafren bin Mohamad Said was organised in
conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei
Darussalam’s 62nd birthday anniversary celebration.
