Donations worth B$62,637 contributed
for Knowledge Convention
B$62,637 were presented Friday to the ‘Kerja
Tajaan Majlis Ilmu’ 2008 High Committee in conjunction with His Majesty
the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 62nd birthday
anniversary. The donations was received by the Sultan Haji
Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation’s Managing Director, Dato Paduka Haji Ali
Hashim bin Haji Daud as High Committee Chairman this year.
70 sponsors donated to the events for this
year’s Majlis Ilmu. Dato Paduka Haji Ali Hashim in turn handed over the
contributions to the Language and Literature Bureau Director, Doctor
Mataim bin Bakar as Chairman of the High Committee for Majlis Ilmu
Events 2008. The Majlis Ilmu this year is themed, “Menghayati Negara
Zikir”.
