Thanksgiving ceremony marking 40th
formation of Pertiwi Association
The Pertiwi Association, Friday held a ‘doa
kesyukuran’ and mass Asar prayer to mark its 40th year of formation.
The event took place at the Taman Asuhan Pertiwi, at Jalan Jawatan
Dalam in Kampung Mabohai.
The function commenced with the reading of
‘Surah Yassin’ and ‘Tahlil’ led by Dayang Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Abdul
Ghani. In her address, Pertiwi’s president, Datin Paduka Hajah Jusnani
lauded on the success of the association’s mission and vision in
educating the country’s women upgrading their status and well-being.
