Last Haj flight carrying 195 Brunei
pilgrims leave for Holy Land
About 195 Brunei pilgrims aboard the 5th and
last Haj flight this season left for Mekkah Tuesday afternoon. They
will join other Haj pilgrims to perform the Haj - fifth pillar of Islam
in the Holy Land. 92 Brunei pilgrims taking the Darussalam Holding
Package, 63 with the HTH Travel Agency, 32 with the JB Travel, 5 with
the Brunei Travel Agency as well as 3 medical officers left the Brunei
International Airport at 3.15 Tuesday afternoon. As with the earlier
flights, the departure of the group was also blessed with the doa
selamat and the azan.
Present at the airport to bid the pilgrims
farewell was the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Pehin Dato Paduka
Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin.
